Complete Hair Care Lines I Reccommend: Motions Salon Herbals & Dr. Miracles. My mom used Motions Salon Herbals and her hair felt so good it felt FAKE…omg…lol. And Dr. Miracles grew her hair in long and fabolous! She’s a devout to it. It stinks too much for me.
Shampoo - Me and My Mom never use the same shampoos twice. But we do have a kick for Isoplus Orange Cleanse Shampoo. It’s new so it might be hard to find. But trust me, it FEELS good and SMELLS good.
Conditioner - got2b Emergency Hair Repair Conditioner and Isoplus Orange Conditioner are the best I’ve ever tried.
Deep Conditioner - Motions Critical Protection Repair - It has all these natural ingredients and smells great!
Hair Stylers - I use Smooth N’ Shine Conditioning Gel all the time. I use it when I blow dry my hair, and when I’m styling it. It’s perfect to use it to blend in your weave with your real hair, plus it comes in cute gel colors like blue and pink and smells AWESOME. I also used Beyond The Zone Hair Gum, but its discontinued :-(! Stiff Head is a great alternative to control your hair and give it this wonderful texture, but it doesn’t smell as good as Hair Gum did.
Hair Tools - Gold is Great. When you’re buying curling irons, striaghteners, etc. - go gold. They heat better, and control your hair wonderfully. I’m currently loving:
VS Sassoon Three - Barrel Waver Iron.
Those who speak bad about it, just don’t know how to use it. You should always use gels and head proctection spritz for the best results when waving OR crimping your hair.
Wigs - Ain’t Nutthin’ Wrong w/ Wearing wigs. Sure girls talk about how you shouldn’t wear them because they’ll get snatched off - that’s why you DON’T wear them to places like school. I have this BEAUTIFUL one by Fifth Avenue. It’s got these multi-colored red highlights, mmmh, it’s wonderful. It helps you get ur sleep in when you’re planning to go out, and it’s quick and easy!
Weaving - I bond weave my hair all the time. I get the highest quality of Human Yaki Hair, 12″, and go wild. I use all kinds of brands - as long as it’s 1B and Human Hair, I’m straight. Ladies, please, go to Sally Beauty Supply and GET your hair matched up. I myself has had embarrassing, non-matching tracks and it is NOT attractive. If your hair is special and you can’t match it up and you’ve GOT to have tracks, get your best match and texurize your hair using a curling/waving/crimp iron. That way it’ll look more like highlights, and not like shit.
Removing The Weave - Use conditioner. I can not tell you how much I have damaged my hair trying to take the easy and quick way out, just pulling the tracks loose and then going to the shower and using a shampoo+condtioner. It’s not healthy. Just apply conditioner to the weft and wait for it to loosen. Your hair will love you.

SKIN CARE
This is WAY important, I can’t stress this enough. Take care of you skin, pretty please. I wish I followed all the directions of my derm now. Any schedule of skin care that works for you is fine. Just as long as is doesn’t dry out your skin.
Mosturizers - Milani Cosmetic’s SMOOTH FINISH TINTED MOISTURIZER.
Face Masks - Self Heating ones such as this one by Mudd (no, not the jean company) are awesome. They’ll take you away, plus get you into the habit. A new favorite of mine is St. Ives Apricot Face Cleanser & Shower Mask.
Skin Cleansers - I use a whole bunch. My favorite companies are St. Ives, Noxzema (Their Exfoliating Cleanser, is awesome) and Clearisil (all around good brand).
Face Scurbs - I love face scrubs. My favorite is St. Ives Medicated Apricrot Scrub! Make sure you get a the gentle formula by St. Ives if your skin is sensitive. And don’t use the Apricrot Scrub too much. It’s not good for the cell structure on your face: you could end up hurting (scaring) more than helping. I recommend using it 1-2 times a week, just to scrub away dead cells and such.
Tip: Some face scrubs are good to rub any dead skin off your lips cuz nobody want to be kissin’ crusty lips, kthxbi.
And ladies, if you got a boyfriend w/ acne, please buy him a good facial cleanser for men. It is not feminine at all - guys w/ acne are not attractive at all, man. Makes us think you’re still stuck in puberty. :-p lol Just kidding, but if that’ll make him wash his face, then, tell him!
